Welcome to Goldenrod Farm
What’s in a name?
Goldenrod Farm is rooted in heritage. Goldenrod is a nod to my home state of Kentucky, it’s the state flower. It also stands for good luck and healing, two things I can simply never have enough of!
The Farm:
We are currently looking for a larger plot of land to grown Goldenrod Farm into our vision!. Once we can expand my dream is to offer Golden Hour Suppers, Classes on everything from wreath making to gardening, Cut your own Flowers, a Farm Store, Events, and much more!
In the Meantime:
We are focused on cut flowers, homemade jam, seasonal plants and produce, garden design, and community events. Find us at local farmers markets or reach out, we’d love to meet you or help you design the perfect project!
It’s lovely to meet you!
I’m Sarah, the farmer, creative mind, and soon-to-be Master Gardener behind Goldenrod Farm. I have spent the last 20 years in the Fashion & Apparel industry doing everything from making costumes for Dolly Parton to manufacturing, custom branded merch, and graphic design.
I started a small flower garden in our front yard in 2023 and found an abundance of peace and happiness while digging in the dirt and the beauty that comes with growing flowers. That led to Goldenrod Farm. My dad has been a farmer for many years and I’ve spent countless hours helping him in the field. It was finally time to take the leap and share the joy I found with others!
I can’t wait to meet you in person soon!

Our current Star!
We are always watching a handful of flowers to see what they will become! Zinnias are famous for changing colors on their bottom petals as the center continues to grow. We like to leave some growing and let nature do her thing, and be in awe of what these beauties become!
This is our current favorite that we are keeping an eye on…
